![]() Surfing Many of the surfers hang out at the ramadas on Borrego beach. (Mar y Sol and Pompis rent boards). The world's longest wave is at Las Islitas. Unfortunately, for some reason the waves have not been breaking much at Las Islitas in the last several years. You have to be very lucky or live here to hit it right. The best time for waves at Las Islitas is in the summer, but I have had good luck in April. There is a shore break on Borrego and at times a jetty break there as well. These waves are available year round - it is not crowded and the people are friendly. |
