![]() Day Trips This section is about the towns and villages surrounding San Blas. Some of them are tourist attractions, others are place to shop or take care of business. Others I have included just because they are there! Tepic - The place where many people go to shop and take care of business. Matanchen - Famous for it's banana bread. Aticama - Balneario and Oster Diving Los Cocos - Check out Casa Manana. Santiago Ixcuintla - A real Mexican town. Mecatan - The nearby waterfall makes this a nice day trip. Jalcocotan - Famous for it's coffee. Platanitos - This lovely lagoon is the best snorkeling spot around. Mexcaltitan - The Venice of Nayarit La Tovara - The Jungle Boat Ride. Villa Hidalgo - Appliance stores and the best birria. La Palma - The bus stops here. La Bajada - Birds along El Camino Real Las Varas - On the way to Vallarta. Sayulita - Surf mecca. Zacualpan - Turtle Sanctuary. |
